
I was over 300Lbs. I have lost over 140Lbs. I started this journey off by first looking into a mirror and motivating myself and telling myself I can do this. I realised my first step was to first have the mindset to get ready for this. I promised myself no matter what happens, I will do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. I set a target and visioned what I want to be like. I left my house to see my friend, who was waiting at KFC for me. This is where my first test started. He asked me what I wanted to eat and I said I’m on diet. He laughed and said it would be impossible.
I was adamant and for the first time I said no to most tempting thing in my life. I realised you need to first have the mindset to have control on what you want to achieve. I got use to saying no and having control.
I started to exercise, diet and work towards my goals.
Mindset is the key to anything that wants to be achieved.
The body achieves whatever the mind believes. You must first believe you can do it, in order to get it done.
